The Ballet Class is now offering adult classes at its 51 Milton Road studio in the Rye Arts Center. The classes are geared toward the intermediate level and perfect for anyone looking for a fun, graceful way to get in shape.

The Wednesday class with Erika Lee runs from 9:30-11, and the Friday class with Ashlee Knapp runs from 12:30-2. The fee is $20 for a single class; $175 for a 10-class card (good for up to 3 months).

The Ballet Class was founded in 1978 by Lynne Stetson, who danced in the New York City Ballet for nine years under the direction of George Balanchine. In 2007 the stewardship and traditions were assumed by current director Celeste Morningstar, who previously taught at the school for 20 years and danced professionally in the Arizona Ballet and American Festival Ballet.

To sign up for classes, contact Associate Director Ashlee Knapp at 967-0912 or 646-319-2929.
