One Giant Step Forward

One Giant Step Forward

First time’s the charm for 5 Steps to Five. The early child development parenting program, now in its fourth year, held its first fundraiser, a luncheon October 17 at Apawamis Club, and there was not an empty seat in the house.

Guests watched an inspiring video showing all the fine work that takes place and the bonds created in this Saturday morning program that serves low-income families in Port Chester. Many in the room signed up to volunteer, and just as many made an additional donation because the mission is critical.
