The beautiful hanging baskets that adorn Purchase Street during the warmer months of the year are the work of the Ceres Garden Club. To help pay for that effort, they hold just one fundraiser, a wreath sale, every year before the holidays at the Square House.

This year, residents and merchants are invited to place their orders early for one of the club’s fresh double balsam and handsomely decorated wreaths. This is a great way to show your appreciation to the small volunteer organization, which does so much for the beautification of downtown Rye, and to get your home or business entrance spruced up early for the holidays.

Starting November 1, call Jean Klein at 967-3036 to place your order.
