2/25 Car 14 observed vehicle with rear passenger door open, Goldwin Street/Midland Avenue, 3:51a.m. Contacted owner who stated they might have left it ajar. No crime committed.

 

2/25 A towfer? Scofflaw violation, Car Park 1, Hannigan’s on scene for tow. Fines settled at City Hall, tow fee settled at site.

 

2/25 Crossing guard at Apawamis Avenue/Milton Road out. Supervisor requested RPD assistance with coverage.

 

2/25 Caller stated someone was removing items from condemned residence, Midland Avenue. Confirmed that it was family of homeowner who had passed away.

 

2/25 Fuming. Grace Church Street second-floor tenant wished to have first-floor tenant stop smoking, because it caused issues with son’s breathing. Officer advised smoking tenant to cease illicit activity. Tenant agreed.

 

2/24 Trespassers reported on fire scene property, Midland Avenue, 1 p.m. Upon arrival, Party of two on sidewalk, neither trespassing. One party stated he was public adjuster, observing, 1 p.m.

 

2/24 Full-frontal required. Vehicle with NY registration parked at Station Plaza by Peck Avenue without front plate mounted. License placed on passenger side window. Summons issued.

 

2/23 Park and Cried. Multiple vehicles fined: Parked on west side of Station Plaza near Second Street with suspended registration for insurance lapse, 12:48 p.m; on west side of Station Plaza near First Street, approximately three feet from curb, causing obstruction of traffic, 12:57 p.m.; on eastbound side of Purdy Avenue, near School Street with suspended registration for insurance lapse, 1:32 p.m. Summonses issued to all.

 

2/23 Larceny. Overdale Road caller believed package was stolen from her front porch.

 

2/23 Caller reported low, black, sporty vehicle operated by male in 20s with scruffy beard possibly casing house across the street – owners away in Florida. GOA.

 

2/22 How gauche. Caller reported house under construction, Orchard Lane where workers were parking their cars at corner by Brown Avenue. He was concerned it was unsafe. No construction observed, summons issued for left wheels to curb.

 

2/22 Complainant reported that Forest Avenue house he owns with his siblings was broken into.

 

2/22 Stuyvesant Avenue caller reported attempted burglary at her home sometime overnight.

 

2/22 Complainant reported damage to her unattended vehicle, Rye Town Park, 2:40 p.m.

 

2/22 Palisade Road caller reported someone tried to break into his home while he was out. Wanted to make report. No burglary. Lock was just blocked.

 

2/22 Criminal mischief. Complainant arrived home to find basement window broken. He believed someone may have attempted to break in.

 

2/21 Imfimus sine laude. College check made out to complainant reported cashed by unknown party.

 

2/21 The truth, the truth, the hole truth…Caller reported road damage by construction company, Red Oak Drive/Oakland Beach Avenue. Small sink hole near manhole cover, sound of rushing water could be heard. Truck driver stated hole was there in morning before crew began working.

 

2/20 Scofflaw violation, First Street. Parked unoccupied. Vincent’s Tow on hand. Inventory completed.

 

2/20 Soil-iciting. Female caller reported two teenagers aggressively soliciting, using dirty language, Elm Place/Purchase Street, 12:47 p.m. Spoke to parties, action corrected.

 

2/20 Construction site foreman requested ambulance for worker who fell approximately 15 feet at 120 Old Post Road site. Was conscious and alert.

 

2/18 Landscaper’s use of multiple leaf blowers reported, Locust Avenue/Ridgewood Drive. Crew down to one blower for remainder of day.

 

2/18 Walk-in wished to document fraudulent bank withdrawal.

 

2/18 Caller stated she observed two males walking with bags and wearing masks in area, stated they had a white van, exited vehicles with masks, bags. Parties gathering recycling cans, bottles.

 

2/14: Caller reported male in Toyota sitting outside his Mendota Avenue house for close to hour. Driver told complainant he was P.I. He was process server in area to serve divorce papers.

 

2/13 Caller reported white BMW parked, running for over hour, Purchase Street. Summons issued.
