Blotter Update 7/30

 

 

7/29 Got your back. Caller reported she was having difficulty reversing her car, was looking for some assistance, 1:12 p.m., Station Plaza. Party parked in spot 614 accidentally allowed her vehicle to roll into spot 609, causing very minor scratch to unoccupied vehicle.

 

7/29 Complainant wanted to report passing of bad check. Was advised to file report by detective.

 

7/29 Flooded road. Private sprinkler on Stuyvesant Avenue seemed broken and had a constant stream flowing onto Van Wagenen Avenue.

 

7/28 Vessel stopped for speeding, Port Chester Harbor. Summons issued.

 

7/28 Davis Avenue caller stated tree limb had ripped her electric supply line from her house. Lines were down with large branch on front lawn of residence. Advised resident to stay away from lawn area, wait for Con Ed to arrive.

 

7/28 Omelette-ing you know. Complainant stated someone was throwing food, eggs onto his Fernwood Avenue property.

 

7/28 Seems like good idea. Officer on de-escalation training, Port Chester PD.

 

7/28 Flexing muscle. Complainant stated gym next door had set up tent, was taking parking spots on property near Elm Place. Equipment was set up in spots 145-146 in Car Park 2, not on private property.

 

7/27 Mayfield Street caller stated his home health aide was harassed while driving to his house by unknown party in vehicle, 10:11 p.m. She felt unsafe. Possibly related to past complaint regarding CT plate vehicle allegedly speeding/running red lights in area of Oakland Beach Avenue/US-1.

 

7/27 Underage slinking. Caller reported kids riding bikes near Elm Place/Purchase Street area, creating disturbance. Unable to corral large group of kids, they broke off into smaller groups.

 

7/27 Female caller from Marshlands stated there was fight in progress, 9:20 a.m. Unit 12 sent to assist until WCPD on scene. Info was taken from all parties.

 

7/26 Report of kayak in distress, Playland Cove, 3:44 p.m. Located kayak, was Rye Town Park rental. Parties assisted by company staff.

 

7/26 Forgive us. Two youths reported riding bikes in middle of road, Purchase/Ridge streets. Trespassed onto Rockridge Deli property.

 

7/26 BPR caller reported hearing gun shots on her street, 12:04 a.m. Canvassed area, negative results.

 

7/25 Caller reported seeing people in construction area north of Midland School playground. Was concerned they might damage completed work, 10:53 p.m. Two youths, sitting on a bench. Headed home.

 

7/25 Caller reported barking dog at property behind her Mayfield Street house. Ongoing situation in addition to it happening for past two hours, 7:55 p.m. Dog was observed barking in backyard. City Code violation, summons issued.

 

7/25 Caller reported leaf blowers in use, Theodore Fremd Avenue, 4:14 p.m. No leaf blowers in use.

 

7/25 Rules of the Road, Grandview Avenue/Julian Street, 11:08 a.m. One summons issued, marijuana seized, to be destroyed.

 

7/25 “Good morning! Good Morning!” Landscaping equipment in use, 6:47 a.m. Advised landscaper he cannot work prior to 10 a.m.

 

7/25 Further, and dumber. Observed three parties on bicycles with no lights or reflectors, Club/Highland roads, 1:16 a.m. Identified one cyclist as 15-year-old resident who was warned, advised to go home. He complied. Other two parties took unknown direction for further travel.

 

7/24 Loud party reported at Forest Avenue residence,11:12 p.m. Homeowner stated he would turn down music.

 

7/24 More dough where that came from. Wallet found by Sunrise Pizza staff. Owner contacted, will pick up.

 

7/24 Whatever un-floats your boat. Caller reported she saw wood fall off float on Mamaroneck side of Hen Island, creating hazard for boaters. Boat Basin Supervisor was aware of float, was awaiting direction from City on how to properly remove it.

 

7/24 Broken record. City Code violation reported, Theodore Fremd Avenue, leaf blowers. Unfounded.

 

7/24 Radcliff Avenue complainant reported larceny from vehicle.

 

7/23 Tiresome call. Complainant stated he watched three men exit vehicle. They appeared to be stealing tires, Car Park 3, 1:22 p.m. Three friends were changing tires of their friend’s car.
