7/7 Caller stated her son’s bike was stolen in last 30 minutes from in front of old Beverage Mart, BPR/Central Avenue, 3:08 p.m.

 

7/7 Caller reported unruly group of youth causing trouble, blocking roadway with bikes, Forest/Oakland Beach avenues, 3:52 p.m. Canvassed wide area. GOA.

 

7/7 Sleepy Hollow route? DPW advised there were two males sitting on bench, possibly unconscious, Purchase Street/Highland Road, 1:02 p.m. Parties were sleeping while waiting for MTA bus.

 

7/7 Watch a little Acorn TV? Complainant had squirrel in her playroom and was afraid it would escape to other rooms. Squirrel gone.

 

7/7 Box truck apparently abandoned for last few weeks. Vehicle previously summonsed. Towed by Vincent’s.

 

7/6 Complainant stated gray Nissan Altima followed her from Forest/Van Wagenen avenues to Playland Parkway, NY license plate, 6:38 p.m. Area canvassed. GOA.

 

7/6 Silt pajamas. Caller reported foul smelling bag in Port Chester Harbor. Police Boat 2 dispatched. Backpack filled with clothing, appeared to have been submerged for significant amount of time, filled with silt.

 

7/6 Local merchant complained about van parked for extended period on Elm Place. PEO assigned. NJ van scheduled to be towed next day if not moved.

 

7/6 Caller reported blue Honda Accord blocking their entrance. Plate belonged on white Jeep Cherokee. Car 12, detective sent.

 

7/5 Shore Road homeowner stated her family was out of town and she was advised by neighbor there were multiple people on her property who did not belong. House checked, appeared secure.

 

7/5 Rocky start. Observed vessel bearing RI registration transiting over Scotch Caps. Stopped for safety. Operator was new to boating and was informed of local underwater, navigational dangers. Vessel continued trip without incident.

 

7/5 Small group of kids reported making noise, destroying DPW property, Elmwood/Oakwood avenues, 2:56 a.m. Canvassed area, negative results.

 

7/5 Loud party reported, Dalphin Drive, 1:28 a.m. Spoke to homeowner, advised she take party inside.

 

7/4 Shocking! Officer reported kids with fireworks, Oakland Beach Avenue, 10:25 p.m. Dispersed. Also, kids reported setting off fireworks on Rye Golf course, 10:23 p.m. Area canvassed multiple times. GOA.

 

7/4 Property check, Purchase Street/Elm Place, 1:18 a.m. Observed truck parked, driver asleep. Dead battery. Operator was employee of USPS. Planned to seek assistance in morning.

 

7/3 Caller stated vessel broke loose from mooring, beached ashore on Hen Island. Owner will retrieve vessel.

 

7/3 Marriott employee stated there was individual whom they wish to be removed from property. Assisted in escorting three females, one male off property. Subjects left by taxi and on foot.

 

7/3 Guppy. Caller reported fishermen were keeping small fish, Rye Town Dock. Parties stated complainant had been drinking and being verbally abusive. Left prior to officers’ arrival.

 

7/3 Construction on holiday, Locust Avenue, 9:11 a.m. Contractor notified it was holiday. Stated they would wrap up work for the day.

 

7/3 Caller stated loud party was going on, 12:10 a.m., Dalphin Drive. Canvassed area, no loud party observed.

 

7/2 Loud party reported, Halsted Place, 11:32 p.m. Party cleared.

 

7/2 Bunch of youths reported in town not wearing masks, riding bicycles very fast on sidewalk and around, causing an issue. All seemed in order.

 

7/2 Stuyvesant Avenue resident reported boat stolen from his property. Marine unit dispatched.

 

7/2 PEO was handed money clip found by citizen in Station Plaza who found it by his car.
