9/24: Early bird special. Driver changed lanes with no signal, BPR, 12:14 a.m. Warning issued.

 

9/24: Suspicious vehicle, occupied by two males, parked at Rye Town Park, 2:47 a.m. Parties checked out and were sent on their way.

 

9/24: Reckless driving. Dark-colored BMW twice seen speeding, driving hazardously on Maple Avenue towards Theodore Fremd Avenue, 4:16 a.m. Canvassed area, negative results.

 

9/23: Vehicle observed parked, unoccupied with rear passenger door wide open, Cloverdale Lane, 2:48 a.m. Vehicle interior appeared normal. Door secured.

 

9/23: Tired. Female caller reported vehicle stopped on Osborn Road, 6:29 a.m. Appeared to be in process of changing tire. Caller believed party had fallen asleep while changing said tire. GOA.

 

9/23: Leaf blowers reported in multiple areas, Peck Avenue. Warning issued.

 

9/23: Party wearing army fatigues reported sitting on wall by Osborn School, 12:19 p.m. Parent was concerned about kids in playground. Party stated he was just passing through, needed no medical attention.

 

9/23: Party stated his car was stolen while parked in front of Webster Bank, Purchase Street. Turns out he had parked car in different location.

 

9/22: Loud party reported, Morris Court, 2:10 a.m. Spoke with homeowner, music was turned down, doors closed, officer remained in area for few minutes to ensure no noise.

 

9/22: Secured Playland Cove from vessel traffic for Westchester Triathlon. All swimmers out of water, Cove cleared of swim buoys by staff.

 

9/22: Three male teenagers reported possibly smoking marijuana, Redfield Street, 12:33 p.m. Were Playland employees, left area and were headed to work.

 

9/21: Illegal public dumping. Furniture, packing material, left by donation bin, Nursery Field.

 

9/21: Complainant stated there was possible toy rifle on Purchase Street sidewalk, 7:34 a.m. Found broken power washer by side of road.

 

9/21: Non-emergency tree cutting prior to 10 a.m. Con Edison Maintenance Yard. Spoke with Con Ed Supervisor, work stopped until appropriate time, 8:16 a.m.

 

9/21: Double your pleasure. Non-emergency construction prior to 10 a.m., Con Ed Emergency Yard, 8:45 a.m. Summons issued.

 

9/21: Keyed. Osborn Road complainant stated that someone opened a fraudulent Key Bank account in her name.

 

9/21: Caller stated solicitors were in Elm Place/Purchase Street area without a permit. Kids on corner were 15 years old. Advised they could stay on corner to raise money for their group.

 

9/21: Complainant stated locked bicycle was stolen from train station. Report written.

 

9/21: Larceny. Party reported painting missing from Greenhaven Road home that was under trust/estate sale.

 

9/21: Noise complaint. Large group of loud youths reported, Guelisten Place, 10:25 p.m. Group of five young females dispersed.

 

9/20: Suspicious vehicle. Honda Odyssey minivan parked, unoccupied at end of Barlow Lane. Vehicle doors were left open with personal items inside. Vehicle secured, locked.

 

9/20: City Code violation, Holly Lane/Midland Avenue, 1:50 p.m. Leaf blowers. Spoke with laborers about code restrictions.

 

9/20: Removed what appeared to be large wooden fence post that was obstructing Milton Harbor channel.

 

9/18: Dalphin Drive/Hix Avenue caller stated two males wearing baggy pants, hooded sweatshirts were looking into cars. Canvassed area, all appeared quiet.

9/18: Female reported that she started pumping gas at Playland Market when she realized she was locked out of vehicle with her dog inside, 9:23 a.m. Vincent’s Towing dispatched. Dog appeared normal, cool temperatures. Vincent’s gained access.

 

9/18: Thumbs down. HQ advised of male with sign possibly hitchhiking, BPR/Thistle Lane. Party identified. No warrants. Told to stop hitchhiking.

 

9/18: Leaf blowers, leaf blowers, leaf blowers!

 

9/18: Hat trick. Caller reported illegally parked vehicle by Purchase Street hydrant struck his car. Minor damage done. Insurance information exchanged. Vehicle issued three parking tickets.

 

9/18: Uber driver was having issue with his passenger/caller, Maple Avenue, 6:29 pm. Information taken from both parties. Situation resolved.

 

9/17: Wholesale food truck delivering to Purdy Avenue bagel shop had engine running due to refrigeration box, 5:59 a.m. Advised operator of noise complaint, suggested parking away from residential building on Second Street, if delivery took longer than 5 minutes.

 

9/17: Walk-in found wallet belonging to Waters Edge resident. Returned to owner.

 

9/17: Lock before you leap. Wilson Drive caller stated when he pulled into his driveway he observed unknown silver 4-door sedan driven by female, pulling out of driveway. Front door unlocked, believed he had been burglarized. Vehicle headed north on Wilson Drive. No forced entry, nothing appeared to be missing.

 

9/16: Stonycrest Road caller stated her aide opened her mail without permission. Informed caller that aide was only trying to help her.

 

9/16: Caller stated she was nearly run off road while heading west on Kirby Lane. She observed silver or gray SUV with roof rack on opposite side of road, headed towards the clubs. Area canvassed, negative results.

 

9/16: Perchance to dream. Holly Lane, leaf blowers. Advised homeowner not to let landscaping companies use blowers.

9/16: Assisted party who claimed his computer was hacked. Other party wanted money to release hack. Situation resolved.

 

9/15: Catch and release. Vehicle parked on Kirby Lane by Island Drive entrance. Multiple males fishing, 2 a.m. Advised to pack up, move along.

 

9/15: Found unoccupied, disabled vehicle in middle of road in safety zone in front of FBI building, Midland Avenue, 8:21 p.m. Operator arrived on scene with gas can. Condition corrected.

 

9/14: Fire, Grandview Avenue residence. RFD was on scene.

 

9/14: Caller wished to report he struck unoccupied car while parking, Car park No. 4. Business card left on vehicle.

 

9/14: Town of Mamaroneck PD requested officer go by Forest Avenue residence to see if 2010 Honda CRV was in driveway. Vehicle was involved in earlier hit-and-run accident. Contact made with registered owner. Advised to contact MPD.

 

9/11: Walk-in reported car stopped in road facing woods, no driver present, Peck Avenue. Driver asleep at wheel. Summons issued.
