10/21 Rug deal. Suspicious vehicle, parked behind Carpet Trends, 2:33 a.m. Parties’ information was run, all checked out. Sent on their way.

 

10/21 Illegally parked vehicle, Old Post Road. Summons issued. Told project manager car must be moved.

 

10/21 Party at HQ reported license plates as lost.

 

10/21 Got the hook. Waters Edge caller reported parties fishing on private property. Fishermen advised to leave.

 

10/21 Kirby appeal. Resident stated there were vehicles parked creating a hazardous, unsafe condition on Kirby Lane. Condition corrected.

 

10/21 Osborn School principal reported threatening phone call, 5:25 p.m.

 

10/21 Post-haste. Bennett Street caller observed unknown party going through his mailbox, run out of his yard, hop on bike, head towards Helen Street. Searched area. GOA.

 

10/21 Caller stated he saw suspicious male wearing black jacket, lowered ski mask walking northbound on Midland Avenue by Rye Recreation. Party out for a walk, and got cold.

 

10/20 Assisted party who locked himself out of vehicle, Theodore Fremd Avenue. RFD responded, gained access.

 

10/20 Gray Thunderbird was blocking Midland Avenue driveway. Vehicle moved.

 

10/19 Caller stated she observed black vehicle following three girls walking in Milton Road/ Parsons Street area. Stated each time girls would move, the car would continue to follow, 1:46 p.m. GOA.

 

10/19 Knock it off. Multiple calls regarding male solicitor, wearing white shirt, tie, khaki pants going door-to-door in Park Street/Radcliffe Avenue area. Advised individual to obtain City permit. Sent on his way.

 

10/19 Caller stated male on second floor of restaurant appeared “out of it”, incoherent, dizzy. Station Plaza.

 

10/19 Sound advice. Complainant stated there was house party with excessive noise on Sound Road, 11:04 p.m. Agreed to move inside.

 

10/18: Greenwich PD requested assistance locating missing juvenile. Phone pinged at Tiki Bar on pier, 1:07 a.m. Checked area, negative results.

 

10/18 Sanford Street caller stated water was flooding into street, 10 a.m. Was break in main running along roadway. Contractor on scene.

 

10/18 Out for stroll. Complainant stated her Mead Pond Lane neighbor’s dog was in her house. Returned to owner.

 

10/18 Walk-in wished to document identity theft.

 

10/18 Old Post Road caller reported finding dead deer. DPW notified.

 

10/18 That sinking feeling. Marine unit located sunken sailboat at mooring 304, Milton Harbor.

 

10/18 Rosemere Street caller reported two males soliciting door-to-door. One very large, other tall, skinny, wearing white sweatshirt. Spoke to party in area matching description. Stated he was on his way home from a friend’s house. Leaving area.

 

10/18 More solicitors reported, Oakland Beach/Davis avenues, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

 

10/18 Caller reported black SUV dumping in Osborn School dumpster. Exited Right onto BPR, last seen making left on Oakland Beach Avenue. Searched area, negative results.

 

10/17 Pump failure just past midnight, Peck/Midland avenues. Foreman notified.

 

10/17 Branches down, tree blocking roadway, Locust/Summit avenues, 12:24 a.m.

 

10/17 Branch down with wires, blocking Horton Street roadway.

 

10/17 Theodore Fremd called reported her front glass door broken, 12:38 a.m.

 

10/17 Thou shalt not. Volunteer staff at Rye Presbyterian Thrift Shop wished to document incident with hostile customers. Sworn statements taken, customers escorted to their vehicle, asked not to return to premise.

 

10/17 Sailboat in Marina slip had front sail partially unfurled. Boat Basin supervisor contacted owner who attempted to correct problem, but had to return when wind calmed.

 

10/17 Highland Road sidewalk closed between Seneca/Oneida streets, causing hazard for pedestrians walking in roadway. Advised dispatch to contact Verizon.

 

10/16 Patient escaped from ambulance at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Male, no shirt, boxer shorts, 2:14 a.m. Assisted Harrison PD with canvas, negative results.

 

10/16 Alexa, see how mom’s doing. Caller reported suspicious person walking around her mother’s Oakland Beach Avenue property, wearing green vest, 9:07 a.m. Caller was viewing scene via cameras. Party at scene checked out.

 

10/16 Beverly Drive caller stated there was bicycle on her property that did not belong to her or her neighbors.

 

10/15 Female caller stated there was male wearing dark hat, dark clothes walking in front of her neighbor’s Halsted Place house. Not sure if he was picking up recyclables. Spoke with collectors. Checked out.

 

10/15 Complainant stated she was being harassed by her Theodore Fremd neighbor who knocks on her door late at night. Complainant receiving hang-up calls, messages from neighbor. Statement taken.

 

10/15 Forest Avenue complainant stated known party, family handyman made unwanted advances to her and she asked him to leave. Party left residence but was banging on door. She was home alone, scared. Car 12, backup unit. Resident stated Port Chester male was unwanted guest, asked not to return.

 

10/14 Loewen Court caller stated construction, yard work was being done on federal holiday. Spoke to foreman, he agreed to shut down work, clean up, and leave.

 

10/14 Contractor working in violation of City Code, Kirby Lane. Warning issued, work stopped.

 

10/13 Grace Church Street resident reported damage to her fence due to criminal mischief.

 

10/13 Caller reported she observed two youths go under Central Avenue Bridge. Officer spoke with kids who were throwing rocks in water. Nothing unusual, illegal.

 

10/13 Fair or foul. Duck hunter noticed “Private Property” signage on middle Hen Island, wanted to know if he should be concerned while duck hunting this year near island. Advised him signage would not interfere with hunting as long as he did not enter marked, posted area.

 

10/12 Resident interrupted attempt to steal Range Rover, Mercedes Benz from Wappanocca Avenue parking lot. Vehicles were entered, owners confirmed they left doors unlocked. Other three vehicles all locked.
