10/17: Female walk-in reported hitting a dog on Locust Avenue that morning. Dog owner present, stated dog was chasing deer and not driver’s fault. No info exchanged. Approximately $5,000 damage to vehicle.


10/18: Goldwin Street resident reported smelling smoke in house. RFD dispatched.


10/18: Con Ed corporate office reported female having panic attack. Officer dispatched.


10/18: Allendale Drive complainant stated property taken from his vehicle overnight.


10/18: Un-armed, but four-legged. Report of 30-pound dog, with white, black, and brown stripes, at large.


10/18: Report of landscape truck blocking roadway, Brevoort Lane/Greenhaven Road, causing hazardous condition.


10/18: Construction after 18:30 hours by contractors doing non-emergency work. Two summonses issued.


10/19: Allendale Drive resident reported two suspicious white SUV’s parked in front of neighbor’s house, burglarized in past. Officers found authorized contractors scheduled to put in new door.


10/19: Quest-ionable placement. Report of tan Nissan Quest parked on side of Playland Access Drive/Playland Parkway obstructing traffic. Towed by Hannigan’s.


10/19: Assist Westchester ASPCA, animal abuse case, Theodore Fremd Avenue. Located animal in question. ASPCA gathered appropriate information for follow-up.


10/19: Caller reported vehicle parked illegally across from her Palisade Road home.


10/20: 4:42 p.m. Numerous fights reported at Rye High football field. 


10/20: 4:45 p.m. Caller reported child struck by motor vehicle, Milton Road.


10/20: 5 p.m. Walk-in reported large group fighting in front of Starbucks.


10/20: Milton Road resident reported a lost iPhone.


10/20: Report of group of youths screaming at cars, BPR/Old Post Road.


10/20: Check of 20 fishermen at Edith Read and Playland Cove pier. No violations observed.


10/20: Report of street light out at end of Guion Road. Notification made in Street Light Book.


10/20: Caller reported highly intoxicated male, red shirt, khaki shorts, baseball cap walking southbound on Forest Avenue.


10/21: A little bit lower now … loud noise reported, BPR/Park Avenue. Rye High School reunion party at Rye Golf Club with permit, DJ advised to lower music.


10/21: Sewer backup reported, Sand Street. DPW foreman notified.


10/21: Good Fishing Skool? Check of 24 fishermen, Edith Read/Playland Cove pier. No violations.


10/21: Call-in report of fight in Cedar Place house, screaming and furniture breaking in background. Cars 10,11,15 sent.


10/22: One too many. Report of multiple leaf blowers in use on Woodland Drive in violation of City Code. Area checked, one leaf blower still in use.


10/22: Deer Diary. Report of motor vehicle accident with deer at Grace Church Street. No damage to vehicle, small deer moved to side of road. Red book entry to remove deer in a.m.


10/23: Multiple use of leaf blowers reported, 8:29 a.m. Guelisten Place. Landscaper stated he knew leaf blower laws and follows them. Officer witnessed no violation.


10/23: Tricky little devils. Caller reported multi-use of leaf blowers, Grace Church Street in violation of city code, 9:13 a.m. No violation observed.


10/23: Greenleaf Street complainant having trouble with neighbor’s construction, parking. Permits all in order. Private road with room for emergency vehicles. No violations.


10/24: Persistent, loud yumming? Resident complained of loud noise from parked vehicle, Lot #2 at Theodore Fremd Avenue in back of cupcake shop.


10/24: Report of tan backpack, containing laptop and school books, left on south side of Station Plaza.
