2/4: Two males reported possibly casing Capitol One Bank, one was black male, the other Middle Eastern decent walking back and forth, looking into bank. Officers discovered parties worked for Capital One and were awaiting to entry.

 

2/4: Possible homeless male wearing overcoat reported in area of Midland School playground. Complainant worried for children going to school.

 

2/4: Black lab reported running in Kirby Lane, headed to Grace Church Street.

 

2/3: Let there be dark. Street lamps out: Drake Smith/Hall lanes, Brown/Forest/Stuyvesant/Hewlett/Elmwood avenues.

 

2/3: Harding Drive complainant stated someone broke windshield on machine on property.

 

2/3: FedExit. Evergreen Avenue resident stated Fedex truck struck her vehicle, left scene.

 

2/3: Party reported he spun out, struck wall/sidewalk/building, Park Avenue/BPR.

 

2/3: Spin out reported, car in ditch, Overdale/BPR.

 

2/3: Grapal Street caller very upset over truck covering her sidewal in snow. Advised to call DPW.

2/1: Person and his children reported ice skating near Van Renssalear Road. Officer spoke to resident who promised compliance and removal of children from untested ice.

 

2/1: Nyet here. Guion Road caller reported Hispanic male, blond female at his door looking for someone who might speak Russian. Area checked with negative results.

 

2/1: Party turned in found wallet. Several unanswered calls to owner. Message left at house.

1/31: Hickory Drive complainant reported she gave personal information to someone over Internet, believing it was Amazon.

 

1/31: Caller reported credit card used elsewhere after it and cash were stolen from her purse at All Paws where she works. Two women with baby stroller pulled a fast one, one asking for help at back of store, while other made theft.

 

1/31: Palisade Place caller reported unruly group of youths running around neighborhood causing trouble.

 

1/30: Assisted RFD in gaining access to Grace Church Street location regarding Con Ed gas issue.

 

1/29: Complainant wanted to report a Roach Coach speeding in the area of Milton Fire House.

 

1/29: Park Avenue resident reported large set of footprints that originated from street to her front and rear of home. Husband away, kids all home and did not make prints. Prints were fresh in overnight snow.

1/28: Westchester County PD reported motorist in possession of Rye Police Reserve badge and ID. Unit 11 sent to retrieve, advised motorist he was no longer member and must surrender badge and ID.

 

1/28: Arrest of suspect on robbery warrant from Mount Vernon PD.

 

1/28: Craig’s Lift. Caller reported her son sold pair of sneakers on Craig’s List, when person came to pick them up, he paid with phony money. Property taken as evidence.

 

1/27: RFD reported Theodore Fremd accident with injuries. Units 16, 18 dispatched.

 

1/26: Assisted motorist, leaving vehicle off-road until morning, Midland Avenue/Cottage Street.

 

1/26: Transformer explosion reported, power outage, Summit Avenue area.

 

1/26: Car fire reported, southbound I-95 by Playland Parkway. Assisted with lane closure.

 

1/26: Bradford Avenue/BPR motor vehicle accident reported, possible entrapment. Units 16/18, EMS, RFD sent.

 

1/26: Marsh mellow. John Jay Place caller reported someone walking in Marshlands, had disappeared from view. Person taking pictures of nature in Marshlands.

 

1/26: Walnut Street caller stated several teens loitering in building basement. Resident on scene, school video project.

1/21: Midnight check on condition of Orchard Avenue water main break. Water company unable to check until morning.

 

1/21: Elizabeth Street/Evergreen Avenue, suspicious vehicle, parked illegally with old snow ordinance summons on it. Will be checked later for possible impoundment.

1/20: Walk-in reported theft of bicycle from Station Plaza.

 

1/20: Power outrage. Complainant stated someone cashed check she had sent to Con Ed three years ago. Perp changed various details on check, was somehow able to cash same.

 

1/19: Water’s Edge caller reported smoke coming from electrical outlet.

 

1/19: Knock, Not. Complainant stated tall white male soliciting in Eve Lane area without identification. Party showed permit to officer, but did not have no-knock list (see box below).

1/18: Oeuf-ul behavior. Brevoort Lane complainant stated her house was just egged.

1/16: Complainant reported he was confronted by his ex-boss. Followed him on Purchase Street, then he received threatening text from her.

 

1/15: Deer stuck on fence, Greenhaven Road. Officer dispatched animal, notified homeowner of responsibility for disposal of remains should DPW be unable to help.

 

1/15: Money launder? Male in dark clothing reported photographing ATMs at rear of Purchase Street bank. Cleaning sub-contractor for banks at work.

 

1/15: Caller wanted to report pothole, but unsure of her location. Car 10 found pothole, nearby Theodore Fremd corner near drainage grate in line with Frankie and Johnnie’s.

 

1/15: Scofflaw violation, Car Park #4.Owner owed $340 in parking tickets. Towed. Vehicle operator on scene.

 

1/15: RHS caller reported illegally parked vehicles.

 

1/14: Criminal mischief to vehicle. Midland Avenue/Beaty Court. Side rearview mirror swiped causing side window to break.

 

1/14: Reality TV. Walnut Street/Orchard Avenue caller reported trash out for days at a time, TV out for over two months by apartment complexes. Desk officer to notify DPW.

  

1/14: Caller stated dog attacked him on Cedar Place. Summons issued for dog at large.

 

1/13: Lexus with six months expired registration, Highland Road/Wappanocca Avenue. Hannigan’s called for tow.

 

1/13: Not cheaper by the dozen. Scofflaw violation, Depot Plaza, $450.

 

1/13: Black Acura reported driving erratically up and down Hammond Road. GOA.

 

1/12: Snow ordinance summonses issued: Orchard Avenue by Laurel Street and Theodore Fremd, also Highland Road/Wappanocca Avenue.

 

1/12: Caller reported storm drain blocked, road flooded by Ridge/Purchase streets.

 

1/12: Storm drain clogged, Playland Parkway/Milton Road. County PD notified.

 

1/10: Caller stated someone may have broken into apartment above Joseph A. Bank.

 

1/10: Harrison PD advised they were looking for brown SUV possibly involved in assault at Halstead bar. Suspect fled in direction of Rye. Nothing observed.

 

1/10: Flooding condition reported in roadway, Forest Avenue/Grace Church Street. 

 

1/10: Caller reported female fallen on ice in parking lot near Purchase Street.

1/7: Caller reported water pipe break at Green Avenue construction site near his residence. Water was flowing into his crawl space, coming from Fairway Avenue sump pump. Plug pulled to stop.
