Police Blotter 2/8: Loud Snow Blower, Dog Bite & Towed Vehicle

2/4 City Code violation: unshoveled sidewalk in front of Grace Church Street home. Owner on scene promised to clear sidewalk straightaway.

 

2/4 J’Accuse…! Caller stated house on southeast side of Apawamis Avenue near Milton Road in violation of City Code due to unshoveled sidewalk. Was grass, not sidewalk. No violation.

 

2/4 Caller stated vehicle in Nursery Lane lot had keys left in it with doors wide open. Caller was able to reach owner, car battery was dead.

 

2/4 Some actual pieces of road have been sighted among the potholes… Complainant stated his vehicle’s rim and tire were damaged by large pothole on Theodore Fremd Avenue between Orchard and Locust avenues. Photos taken.

 

2/3 Car parked on Midland Avenue with suspended registration, no insurance in effect. Vehicle towed, impounded.

 

2/2 Stoneycrest Road resident stated snowplow backed into her vehicle overnight.

 

2/2 Get a Timex. Complainant stated someone was using loud snowblower, Brown Avenue/Centre Street, 3:03 a.m. Spoke with worker, condition corrected.

 

2/2 Flooding on Milton Road between Fairlawn Street and Hewlett Avenue. DPW notified and responding.

 

1/31 Caller reported vehicle hit by truck, BPR/Hornidge Road, 11:39 p.m. Assisted Mamaroneck PD at accident scene, took pictures of City vehicle involved in accident.

 

1/31 Purdy Avenue business owner called to report business fraud.

 

1/30 Caller reported group of teenagers making noise on Palisade Road driveway, now walking down the street, 11:37 p.m. GOA.

 

1/30 Caller reported female was bitten by dog and had hole in her leg. Car 18, EMS sent.
