3/1: Suspicious person, Loewen Court, 8 p.m. Male reported sitting in vehicle in front of complainant’s residence. Homeowner did not know who he was. Just Uber driver waiting for his phone to turn back on for directions.

 

2/28: Walk-in reported attempted fraud via email.

 

2/28: Sound advice. Oakland Beach Avenue complainant smelled odor of gas. She was Advised to evacuate the house.

 

2/28: Assist citizen. Motorist reported she was being followed. Units dispatched. Summons issued. Both parties agreed to go separate ways. No further action needed.

 

2/28: Walt! Where are you Walt! Red Pony patron wished to file complaint about interaction with other customers. Info taken from caller and management. Caller may return to file statement.

 

2/27: Likely story. Suspicious vehicle, Playland Parkway, 12:45 a.m. Driver stated he was just hanging out with passenger because they had nowhere else to go.

 

2/27: Assisted citizen, disagreement in parking lot #4, 10:41 a.m. Mediated, no further action.

 

2/27: Two NY State inspection stickers stolen from desk, Rye Ford Subaru.

 

2/26: Hacked! Party said she had an issue with taxi cab driver who was attempting to charge her more money because she was using a credit card. Written statement taken.

 

2/26: Rock chipping complaint, Gramercy Avenue, 8:26 a.m. No violation observed.

 

2/26: Brown Avenue party stated there were 2-4 people going door-to-door, possibly solicitors. Black SUV was parked in front of her residence. Turned out to be Jehovah’s Witnesses.

 

2/26: High and dry. Suspicious vehicle, Harbor Terrace Drive/Hix Avenue. Individuals were delivering dryer, freezer to area house when Enterprise box truck broke down. Were waiting for owner of company.

 

2/25: Suspicious person, Marlene Court/Sharon Lane, 1 a.m. Caller stated two males were acting suspiciously, possibly trying to break into cars. RPD stopped leaving area. Uber picking up female passengers. Spoke to Sharon Lane resident who stated vehicles parked in area were guests at his home and one friend went out to get phone charger from car.

 

2/25: Dolce & Grab-ana? CVS employee stated female wearing large coat cosmetic items from store. Fled on foot westbound towards village. Canvas of village stores negative.

 

2/25: Male caller stated he parked his white 2008 Mercedes on Purdy Avenue approximately 20 minutes earlier, left car locked and had keys with him. When he returned, vehicle was missing. Caller later said he had forgotten where he had parked his car.

 

2/25: Larceny from motor vehicle. Henry Street caller stated unknown parties went through his car sometime overnight
