4/2: On and on and…Central Avenue complainant wished to document ongoing issue with his landlord, 5:56 a.m.

 

4/2: Caller stated he was having ongoing issue with his Central Avenue tenant. Requested officer to respond, 12:15 p.m.

 

4/2: Party reported his landlord had taken label off Central Avenue mailbox identifying it as being his. Also accused landlord of stuffing trash in his mailbox, 1:27 p.m.

 

4/2: Caller reported motor vehicle stopped at BPR/Old Post Road traffic light. She drove around vehicle when it did not move but was not sure if driver was sleeping or needed assistance. GOA.

 

4/1: Steamy. Suspicious vehicle parked in Rye Town Park with windows fogging up, 1 a.m. All parties checked, would be leaving area.

 

4/1:  Old Post Road/Playland Access Drive blocked by large trucks, with no flaggers. Spoke with foreman about trucks, flaggers, illegal parking. Warning issued.

 

4/1: Some view. Complainant stated that after repeated requests neighbors still allowed their dog to defecate on their Pondview Avenue property.

 

4/1: Cedar Place party stated he was being intimidated, threatened by co-worker. Would return with sworn statement.

 

4/1: City Code violation, landscapers were operating several leaf blowers in front of Halstead Avenue property. Warning issued.

 

4/1: Multiple leaf blowers, Palisade Road. Warning issued.

 

4/1: Split and run. Multiple calls regarding unknown tractor-trailer that hit, severely damaged utility pole, Milton Road/Parsons Street. Scene turned over to Con Ed.

 

3/31: Complainant reported unknown male entered common area of multi-family Orchard Avenue home and snapped pictures.

 

3/31: Two vehicles parked illegally in lower circle, Playland Park. Summonses issued.

 

3/31: Caller reported cat lying in road, Forest Avenue/Maple Drive. Removed from roadway.

 

3/31: Likely story. Vehicle with lights on reported in parking lot at Marshlands Conservancy, 1:31 a.m. Parties were having a conversation, advised them park was closed.

 

3/30: Fascinating. Water reported coming from manhole near Locust Avenue Firehouse. Confirmed water was coming from manhole cover into drain basin. DPW notified.

 

3/30: Car and motorcycle accident, BPR/Hillside Road. Injured party taken to Westchester County Medical Center.

 

3/30: Caller reported kids playing by Locust Avenue tunnel under I-95, belived they may have left beer. Negative results on backpack left at scene. Access gained by Ridgewood Drive.

 

3/29: Resident stated unknown party had been ringing her Purchase Street doorbell for 5 minutes. Neighbor in other apartment was taking out trash and got locked out.

 

3/29: Pondview Road/Mead Pond Lane resident reported suspicious black male wearing dark old clothes walking about in area. Party stated he pulled off road to make call, decided to walk around not knowing he was on private property. Warning issued.

 

3/29: Party reported hit-and-run accident, CVS parking lot, 3:22 p.m.

 

3/28: Party spoke to Desk Sgt. regarding landlord not fixing heating unit in his Central Avenue residence, 4:34 a.m. Officer informed complainant it was not police matter and he should speak to his landlord in the morning.

 

3/28: Caller reported truck blocking her Sunset Lane roadway preventing DPW from removing her garbage.

 

3/28: Multiple leaf blowers, Holly Lane. New contractor stated he did not know about rule and would immediately shut down use of machines. Warning issued.

 

3/27: Double jeopardy. Rules of the Road. Vehicle stopped for speeding, BPR/Hornidge Road, 60 in 30 zone. DMV check revealed operator’s license suspended. Arrested and charged, $50 cash bail.

 

3/27: No valet parking? Packard Court caller reported 120 Old Post Road construction workers were creating parking hazard. Foreman said he would address issue. Summonses issued.

 

3/27: Louder that “Spirit of St. Louis”. Three leaf blowers reported in use, Lindbergh Avenue. Landscaper advised of rule. Warning issued.

 

3/27: PEO reported finding $800 MD scofflaw. Car 16 sent as backup. Vehicle towed by Hannigan’s.

 

3/27: Reckless driver reported in Playland parking lot. Black Mazda Mazda. Father was observing unlicensed son. Warning issued.

 

3/26: Caller reported male in middle of Locust Avenue under train overpass yelling at train above. Feared for his safety. Known party, advised to comply with NYS laws when riding bicycle.

 

3/25: Lotta overtime. Suspicious black Cadillac Escalade parked, occupied, North Street/Theodore Fremd Avenue. Party checked out as flagger for Con Ed.

 

3/25: Get used to it. Assisted Port Chester PD in shutting down I-95 north/Midland Avenue ramp for blasting work.

 

3/24: Caller reported someone screaming at her in CVS parking lot. Verbal altercation, no crime committed.

 

3/23: Kirby appeal. Caller reported his Kirby Lane home alarm went off and alarm company did not dispatch. He was away and wanted house checked. Officer found front door wide open, interior looked normal. Able to secure front door, exit side door.

 

3/22: Caller stated there was an object in the road in front of Rye Golf Club, might be rock or bag, wasn’t sure.

 

3/22: Walk-in reported dog left in vehicle with no windows open, unattended, Rye Grill & Bar/Station Plaza. Registered owner was leaving upon officer’s arrival. Window was slightly open.
