4/29: Close, but no cigar. Attempt to serve subpoena at Beck Avenue address, informed by landlord party no longer living there. Placed call to ADA, who advised to check with Post Office. Postmaster gave new Purchase Street address. Party works there, but not present.

 

4/29: Warning issued, placement of signs on Evergreen Avenue. Resident stated they were community signs. Moved from roadway onto private property.

 

4/28: And the winner is, man in blue. Officer Compagnone reported male wearing all black checking car doors on BPR in front of 66 Milton Road. Party ran as officer approached.Vehicles in area seemed in good order. Canvassed area with negative results.

 

4/28: MVA, motorcyclist fell by BPR traffic booth, minor scratches, refused EMS and accident report.

 

4/28: Caller reported argument with her Maple Avenue neighbor. Argument settled.

 

4/28: Midland School neighborhood trouble, group of non-residents playing soccer. Group dispersed, basketball courts returned to local youths.

 

4/28: Y me? Caller reported damage to vehicle while parked at YMCA. Y to review cameras prior to report being filed.

 

4/27: Mead Place caller stated car hit hers and left scene. Bump resulted in minor damage.

 

4/27: Multiple leaf blowers reported, Rye Beach Avenue. Advised of City Code, warning issued.

 

4/27: Watching the booty. Caller reported her car booted while parked at Rye Colony. Officer stood by while management/residents resolved civil issue over booting on private property.

 

4/27: Complainant stated youths playing basketball at Rye Rec around 10:30 p.m. keeping his family awake. Youths dispersed.

 

4/27: Caller reported two dogs walking in eastbound lane, Playland Parkway by BPR. Humane Society notified. Black lab mixes retrieved.

 

4/26: Raccoon reported near Theodore Fremd Avenue. GOA.

 

4/26: Kids setting off fireworks near Rye Rec. Group ran from scene.

 

4/25: Extra patrol of Mead Place electrical contractor’s due to previous grand larcenies. Exterior checked, nothing unusual to report.

 

4/25: Unlit for duty. Officer advised that Playland was completely dark, no lights lit anywhere, 1:03 a.m.

 

4/25: Crew’s alarm. Caller reported early construction in violation of City Code, 7:12 a.m. Workers advised, machines shut down until 7:30 a.m.

 

4/25: Youths reported shooting what looked like BB guns into Nature Center.

 

4/24: Stop sign turn signal violation, Playland Parkway/Forest Avenue, warning issued.

 

4/24: Suspicious package next to blue Jeep in lot, Theodore Fremd Avenue.

 

4/24: Cyclist down, North Street. Rider did not want medical attention.

 

4/23: Party turned himself in, warrant for arrest.

 

4/23: Overnight suspicious activity, mischief reported, Nature Center.

 

4/23: Orchard Lane resident reported animal in area acting strange, possibly rabid.

 

4/23: Caller reported her vehicle broken into while she was at work, Theodore Fremd Avenue.

 

4/22: Unwanted persons on property, Marriott Courtyard. Male/female looking for friend in hotel, manager asked them to leave. Condition corrected, 5:27 a.m.

 

4/22: Correction un-corrected. Female banging on front door, Marriott Courtyard, 6:09 a.m.

 

4/22: Lost wallet dropped off by civilian.

 

4/22: Harbor Lane homeowner stated possible drug activity in backyard. Det. spoke with three possible parties involved, Detective Woods on scene, information taken.

 

4/22: Caller reported he observed teenage girl hysterically crying, walking in Rye Town Park, described as wearing light blue pants, black jacket over pink shirt.

 

4/22: Resident turned in men’s wallet containing NYS license, $2 cash. Owner contacted, will retrieve wallet.

 

4/21: Good turnout. Large crowd of people reported at Rye Town Park, pancreatic cancer-walk participants.

 

4/20: Complainant reported unknown person or persons stole her purse during estate sale, Florence Avenue.

 

4/20: Combination platter. Party stated unknown persons entered, removed safe, Purchase Street.

 

4/20: Cry Colony. Caller reported someone trying to tow her car from Rye Colony.

 

4/19: Front desk clerk requested help for eviction, Marriott Courtyard, also noise in parking lot. Group dispersed from rear of hotel as per request by management.

 

4/19: Car 10 reported vehicles by Greenhaven beach. Spoke with four of eight parties, identification taken.

 

4/19: Caller reported finding wallet with cash, gift cards. Returned to owner.

 

4/18: Person reported going through recycled material, Red Oak Drive.

 

4/18: Caller reported group of youths entering Greenhaven beach area.

 

4/17: Hack need. Taxi driver in front of Redfield Street residence stated party left without paying. Condition corrected.

 

4/17: Water they thinking? Purchase Street/Cedar Avenue, construction company working on water main caused unsafe traffic pattern condition, lack of needed flagman. Site cleaned up and foremen advised job would be shut down if condition arises again.

 

4/17: Brevoort Lane caller stated unknown person or persons entered her vehicle but did not take anything.

 

4/17: Injured deer, Playland Parkway/BPR, shaken up but okay, ran into wooded area.

 

4/17: Wappanocca Avenue caller reported unknown person threw garbage into her vehicle and left scene.
