7/19: Try Rearview. Caller stated landscaping truck backed into his car on Valleyview Avenue.

 

7/17: Redfield Street complainant stated a car was parked illegally in front of his house.

 

7/17: Fernwood Avenue resident reported ongoing harassment from her neighbor.

 

7/16: Checked on ABC News reports regarding safety of the Sound. County pump station confirmed eight-inch main break, contained. Clubs, beaches to be advised.

 

7/16: Large fuel leak reported, BPR/Oakland Beach Avenue, three feet wide by 100 feet long. Speedy-dry thrown onto roadway. Reported to DPW.

 

7/15: Fallen tree reported blocking Guion Road at Grace Church Street. DPW informed.

 

7/15: Tree down, Old Post Road/Thruway Access Drive. DPW on scene awaiting state DOT.

 

7/15: Caller reported safety hazard, youths skateboarding from Midland School into roadway.

 

7/14: Rest in (one) piece. Vehicle left unattended, in reverse, on Red Oak Lane rolled into and across Oakland Beach Avenue. Miraculously did not strike anything, came to rest at curb.

 

7/14: Grace Church Street caller reported hearing what he believed to be gun shots. Nothing observed.

 

7/14: Caller reported red vehicle speeding up and down Forest Avenue, near Dearborn.

 

7/13: Inscrutable Scooter Gang rides again. Three suspicious males on scooters reported headed north to town from BPR/Bradford Avenue.

 

7/13: Neighborhood trouble, Maple Avenue/High Street, argument over dog feces. Offender stated she picks up after her dog.

 

7/13: Citibank employee reported 5’3” African American female in her 30’s trying to deposit counterfeit money orders.

 

7/13: White male wearing white button-down shirt, jeans reported highly intoxicated trying to hitchhike by City Hall. Walking to grandparents in Mamaroneck. Put in taxi.

 

7/13: Large underage drinking party reported, Central Avenue.

 

7/12: Look for someone with hair in their face. Captains Lane complainant stated he found improvised bobby pin lock pick in his front door lock.

 

7/12: Rye Town Park security reported two intoxicated females on beach causing a problem.

 

7/12: Vehicle parked in violation of beach ordinance and on sidewalk, OBA.

 

7/12: Bucket lift. Beverly Drive resident reported she has a bat laying in her front yard, concerned it may be rabid. Advised to place bucket over bat until nightfall, then remove bucket, evaluate situation in morning.

 

7/11: Leaf blowers reported, Parkway Drive/Reymont Avenue.

 

7/11: Midland Avenue complainant reported her neighbor has been making lewd gestures towards her and her young children.

 

7/11: Stolen bike reported, Lea Place.

 

7/11: CVS reported shoplifter who left store.

 

7/11: Several calls regarding dead deer in road, BPR/Playland Parkway.

 

7/10: Stuyvesant Avenue resident stated her ex-nanny was harassing her and family through email and social media.

 

7/10: Caller reported youths smoking pot, OBA/Newberry Place. GOA.

 

7/9: Caller reported man revving his engine, ran into a parked car. Took statement from witness.

 

7/8: Caller reported shih tzu wandering Nursery Lane area without collar. Car 18 sent, dog returned home.

 

7/8: Westchester C.C. Beach Club complainant reported lost cell phone.

 

7/8: Assisted Yorktown PD with missing person search. Obtained statement from AYC manager stating he saw subject leave at 6 p.m. Canvassed three nearby clubs and Wainright. No results.

 

7/8: Dogwood Lane caller reported seeing lightning strike tree outside her house and she smelled smoke inside. FD dispatched.

 

7/8: Ann always did have a glow. Billington Court caller stated he saw lightning strike behind Midland School where he now sees glow, maybe on Ann Lane. All appeared in order.

 

7/8: Roger Sherman Place caller reported hearing what she thought were gunshots in rear of her house towards parkway. Canvassed areas without results, saw streetlights out, may be transformer explosion.

 

7/8: Glass half broken. Caller complained youths being loud and breaking glass by gazebo, Gagliardo Park. Group of kids cleaned area, left park.

 

7/7: Ed-ification. Power outages reported throughout city. Con Ed notified and said they were responding.

 

7/7: Back to nature. Complainant stated he saw naked male in woods by Edith Read Sanctuary. Cars 12 and 18 sent.

 

7/7: Where they keep taxes? DPW reported sinkhole, Purchase/Smith streets.

 

7/6: Milton Road/Parsons Street, female stated she was nervous driving after fight with boyfriend in Pelham. Escorted to P.C. gas station for fuel.

 

7/6: Elizabeth Street, loud party reported. Corrected.

 

7/5: Fireworks reported being shot from Lasalle Avenue hitting houses on Walker Avenue. D/O could hear fireworks during call.

 

7/5: Sure it wasn’t a pointer? Loose dog, possibly rottweiler, reported loose at Five Points.

 

7/5: Beary Court/Midland Avenue resident stated stray dog on her property continually barking. Aggressive dog – humane society contacted.

 

7/5: The first 36 are the hardest. Cedar Place caller stated there has been a white van i.f.o. his house for 37 days. Valid vehicle.

 

7/5: Contractor working at Holly/Larkspur lanes making road impassable by trenching across road. Needed plate in place for emergency vehicle passage. Plate replaced, road opened.

 

7/5: Shook, rattled, and rolled. Maple Avenue caller stated large brown dog on her doorstep “shaking like a leaf.” Dog g.o.a.

 

7/5: Caller reported someone altered payroll check at The Osborn.

 

7/5: Motorist complained of damaged tires from construction plates on Forest Avenue/Playland Parkway.

 

7/4: Resident reported capsized sailboat with people on it just off Parsonage Point near Scotch Caps.

7/4: Caller stated two males had confrontation near Osborn School.

7/2: Unsweetened Bens. Candy Rox caller reported counterfeit $100 in her cash, taken in during last several days.
