9/24: Construction blocking driveway, Grace Church Street. Situation corrected, warning issued.

9/23: Hang up. No answer on call back, 9:16 a.m. Child was playing with phone. Spoke to parents.

9/23: Harrison PD reported 911 call regarding verbal dispute, area of Brown Avenue/Lyden Street. Searched area, parties GOA.

9/23: Yellow Lab reported running in/out of traffic, Forest Avenue/Warriston, 6:17 p.m. Lane. “Scout” reunited with owner.

9/23: Hillside Place caller reported strange car with its door open and male standing next to it, 10:24 p.m. Parties checked out. Was resident speaking with family.

9/22 Assistance requested by County PD. Female reported down on Playland Boardwalk by mini-golf course, unknown reason, 11:45 a.m.

9/22: Assisted citizen,1:20 p.m. Call from Spanish-speaking female, unknown issue with boss. She wanted ride home from her former employer. Taken to train station from Hillside Road/Purchase Street area. No further action required.

9/22: Suspicious persons. Group of Hispanic and black males reported going door-to-door, Loder/Ralston streets, 2 p.m. Jehovah’s Witnesses.

9/22: Caller reported large tractor trailer on Martin Road, 9:17 p.m. Spoke with operator who said they moved family into Heritage Lane house earlier and he was required by law to rest until 11:30 p.m., when he could legally operate the rig.

9/21: Two males reported looking into vehicles on High Street, one wearing red sweatshirt, second on bike wearing T-shirt, jeans, 4:13 a.m. Identified, one from Rye, other from Larchmont.

9/21: Complainant stated vehicles passing school bus with red stop lights, Orchard Avenue. No violations observed.

9/21: No crossing guard reported at Apawamis Avenue/Milton Road, 8:12 a.m.

9/21: Green Avenue caller reported smoke condition on second floor of her home. RFD dispatched, 10 a.m.

9/21: Marshall reported he was doing an eviction and landlord wished to file report regarding damage to his Maple Avenue property. Landlord advised of his options.

9/21: Got out of Dodge. Vehicle was running with lights on for two hours while parked in front of Water Moon. Officer went to couple of restaurants on Purchase Street seeking owner. White Dodge Durango turned off prior to arrival back at scene.

9/21: CVS manager having issue with group of youths gathering in front of the store. Group on its way, 9:55 p.m.

9/21: “Let’s go to CVS.” Milton Road caller reported large, loud group of unsupervised youths, 8:11 p.m. GOA. All quiet.

9/20: Florence Avenue caller stated his CO alarm was sounding. RFD responding.

9/20: North Street caller stated she observed male Hispanic try to open car door in her driveway. Sworn statement taken, 1:51 a.m.

9/20: Male reported with bottle of “Hennessy” sitting on guardrail. State police notified, 8:14 a.m., I-95/Midland Avenue.

9/20: Low blow. High Street resident reported identity theft to her accounts.

9/20: Collared. Loose Pitbull in area of Locust Avenue/Mead Place. Recurring problem. Dog back home, gave warning to owner.

9/20: What a honk. Grapal Street complainant stated resident of house opposite hers constantly honks his horn, disturbing her. No horn sound heard

9/19: Officer stated he saw party sitting on edge of Old Post Road bridge overlooking Playland Parkway State Police notified. Unit 10, EMS dispatched.

9/19: Possibly ill raccoon reported walking around. Located animal on Sharon Lane. Party advised to call trapper.

9/19: Nissan Sentra, NJ plates left unattended in Playland parking lot for over a week. County PD notified.

9/19: Group of youths reported creating hazardous condition, harassing people on Village Green. GOA.

9/19: RPD Officers Stage Dramatic Rescue. On September 19th at 1:48 a.m., City of Rye Police Officers James Foti and Keith Parker approached a 50-year-old female who had stopped her vehicle on the Playland Parkway overpass of I-95 southbound. The distraught woman climbed a jersey barricade and positioned herself to jump into oncoming traffic. Acting quickly and decisively, Parker distracted the woman with conversation, while Foti was able to reach her from behind and pull her back over the barricade, preventing her from jumping. She was then transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. “The department is proud of the actions of our officers during this highly intense and emotional incident,” said Lieutenant Robert Falk, acting Commissioner of Public Safety.

9/17: Complainant stated her credit card information was stolen and fraudulent purchases were made on two different credit cards.

9/16: Master Card or Vizzzzzza? Party refused to pay taxi fare, Dogwood Lane/Highland Road. Passenger found asleep in back seat. Officer woke him up, then followed taxi to passenger’s address. Fare was paid.
