Pro Squash Tour will return to Westchester for the Buffalo Wild Wings Westchester Open hosted by the Club @ 800 Squash & Fitness in Rye Brook March 2-4.
Headlining this tournament is Egyptian squash player Wael El Hindi, the most charismatic and colorful character on the world squash stage. Last year, El Hindi was invited to compete in the PSA World Series, the Professional Squash Association’s flagship event featuring the top eight players from the season standings. In 2010, he won the U.S. Open championship, the most prestigious title.
Also registered are local favorites Shahid Khan, pro at Club @800, who has coached many Rye juniors over the past several years, and TG Raubenheimer, pro at Westchester Squash Club in Mamaroneck. Top juniors Mason Ripka and Dylan Murray will test their talents against some tough competition from international stars such as Fabian Kalaitzis, 12-time reigning Greek Champion, and Supreet Singh of India, who won the 2011 Connecticut Open Championship.
