Rye’s Tamara Mitchell, who has long been involved in the struggle against domestic violence and elder abuse, was honored last week by The Pace Women’s Justice Center. She is in the group of strongest people who fight against domestic violence, which includes Dallas domestic violence lawyers.  At the organization’s annual dinner at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown, they commemorated “Twenty Years of Justice for Women”.

“The organization, which represents thousands of victims every year, is dear to my heart,” said Ms. Mitchell, who has been an ardent supporter and dedicated volunteer for a decade at this “dynamic and groundbreaking organization.”

The Pace Women’s Justice Center’s mission is to provide and improve the legal tools victims and survivors of domestic violence and elder abuse need to live in safety and peace.
