For the second consecutive year, Georgetta Morque earned a Silver Mercury Award in the annual competition hosted by the Connecticut Valley, Southern Connecticut, and Westchester/Fairfield chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Now in its 17th year, the Mercury Awards competition recognizes outstanding work in the public relations, communications, and marketing professions.

Morque won in the category of Media Relations (for Profit) for her work with Pro Squash Tour, where she serves as director of media relations. Pro Squash Tour coordinates a series of tournaments across the country for players from around the globe who compete for points and prize money. The tour runs from August through May and culminates in an end-of-season championship. Morque was recognized for expanding the visibility of the sport in mainstream media.

The awards were presented September 20 at the Pond House Grille in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Internet celebrity, comedian, and vlogger Michael Buckley was the emcee and awards presenter.
