RHS Field Hockey Team Advances to Final

 

Rye’s field hockey team took Nyack down Tuesday, advancing in Section 1 playoff competition. The final is Thursday against Lakeland.

Rye’s field hockey team took Nyack down Tuesdsy, advancing in Section 1 playoff competition. The Garnets won by a score of 2-0 in the semi-final game.

 

The final is Thursday at Mamaroneck High School against top-ranked Lakeland.

 

RHS, which is seeded No. 2 in tournament play, defeated No. 3 Nyack on goals by Scarlett Sulliman and Alex Bennett. Today’s game was played at Rye Country Day School.

 

The Garnets won the quarterfinal match Saturday agaisnt Byram Hills, 3-0. The Bobcats were seeded 10th.

 

Rye advanced to the field hockey Sectional final last fall before losing to Lakeland.
