In 2013, they picked up two sister clubs in Italy and are working on important joint projects with both of them. They’ve adopted a hospital in Burkina Faso, the third poorest country in the world. “A pro bono surgeon in the Courmayeur Club handles critical cases. Rye Rotary is doing their part, raising money with their Thanksgiving Pie Sale, and, next month, with their Citrus Sale. They gave out $12,000 in scholarships to graduating Rye High seniors this year. They plan to up their community grants next year.
