Row, Row, Row to Victory!

The Garnet crew team rowed 850 kilometers (530 miles) at the third annual Ergathon last month, improving the previous year’s distance by over 40% and raising much needed funds for regatta registrations and travel accommodations. The team has a roster of 51 athletes this fall with a record 20 new rowers, 17 of them freshmen. Head of the Riverfront, the team’s first regatta, takes place October 2 in Hartford and is followed by the Head of the Passaic in Rutherford, NJ, October 15.
