Celebrating 100 years of healthy living this year, the Rye YMCA invites members to get moving! Join them in a step and/or swim challenge from this week until April 24. Swim a 100 miles or take 10,000 steps a day.

Sign up at the Member Service Desk and receive a pedometer and a daily log form. You’ll receive motivational tips via email to keep you going. Earn extra steps when you’re at the Y. The total will be announced at the annual Rye Derby on April 27.

If 100 miles seems daunting, create a small team for the Swim Challenge. Sign up in person or online. At the end of the week, swimmers should submit their challenge sheets in a box on the Brookside pool deck.
