A limited edition of original archival images of Rye Beach and Boardwalk by local photographer JoAnn Cancro is available exclusively at Gallery 52, now at 81 Purchase Street in Rye.
Her work will be exhibited for sale beginning May 14.
This grouping of Rye Beach, Rye Town Park, Oakland Beach, and the Boardwalk draws from years of photographing in Rye, observing the changes, and appreciation for the
timeless and unique Art Deco architecture, textures, and the capti- vating power of these magnificent structures on the Long Island Sound.
Cancro gathers her inspiration from what most people over- look. A sense of viewing three dimensions on one dimension is evi- dent in her work. Her images leave the viewer wanting to walk down the steps, walk through the archway, open the door, pass through the turnstile.
