The “Best of Rye” came out for the Rye Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon June 6. Guests lingered on the waterfront lawn of Wainwright House, before sitting down to a scrumptious lunch provided by Corner Stone Caterers.

Guest speaker Gene Pride, senior vice president of CBRE, the firm that handled the recent sale of 1037 Boston Post Road, gave an informative talk on commercial real estate.

Chamber President Sally Wright was pleased to honor State Senator George Latimer for his continued and constant advocacy of the small business community. “We honor George today because he has been our ‘go-to’ guy!”

In the weeks leading up to the luncheon, Chamber members had the opportunity to vote for their favorite merchants.

And the winners of the Best of Rye are:

Clothing and Shoes – Rye Running

Specialty Stores – The Open House

Fine Dining – Ruby’s Oyster Bar & Bistro

Casual Dining – Poppy’s Café

Real Estate – Coldwell Banker

Financial Institutions – TD Bank

Services – Core Pilates Studio of Rye and Health Through Massage

Schools – Rye Country Day School
