The RHS School Band led off regally with one of Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance marches. Musical interludes were thoughtfully interspersed throughout the ceremony.
Principal Patricia Taylor welcomed the biggest crowd to date; with 247 graduates, Nugent Stadium was filled to the rafters.

The class was well represented — in speech and deed — by Valedictorian Min Kyo Kim and Salutatorian Judson Ellis.

School Board President Laura Slack had the pleasure of handing out diplomas once again. Sadly, it was for the last time, as she is stepping down from the Board after nine years of service.

Afterwards, everyone gathered indoors for more photos and good cheer at a reception hosted by the Parents’ Organization.
