He graduated from Rye High School in 2011, where he made the Honor Roll each academic year. During his RHS athletic career, he earned three varsity letters, All League, and All Section honors in lacrosse, and two on the football team, where he played guard and defensive end.
The rising junior was recruited to play Division 1 lacrosse at Siena College, making the finals of their conference for the past two seasons.
