Students Charting Their Own Paths in Science

At Rye High School’s annual year-end Science Research class, students showcased individual projects based on topics of personal interest. Each was required to conduct a relevant experiment and, once completed, all were eligible to submit their findings to regional and statewide symposia.

They created poster boards detailing their research and, throughout the event, the budding scientists fielded questions from interested attendees. Topics spanned the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Robotics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, and Mathematics.
