The Afterschool Advantage
Come September, the officers of every afterschool club at Rye High School prepare for the Club Fair at which they set up tables and recruit a new crop of members. Candy is a common form of table-bait. And this year, the principal and assistant principals were on hand handing out ice cream treats to seal the deal.
There is an afterschool club for every interest — music, journalism, investment — and an impressive number to raise awareness and activism on the causes of the day.
