They went on to win six games in a row to win their way into the District 20 Championship game for the second year in a row.

They would have to beat Eastchester two nights in a row to win the title. Game 1 went back and forth, but Rye came out the winner, 12-8. Game 2, the final and deciding game, was a heartbreaker. Rye lost 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth.
At season’s end, Manager Greg Hale had lots of praise for his team’s performance throughout the tournament.
