The Lunch Bunch
The Osborn School fourth and fifth graders who make up the lunchtime Garden Club have spent many a mid-day this fall planting, weeding, harvesting, and having a glorious time, under the caring direction of teacher, children’s book author, and gardener supreme Anne Mottola.
This month, the students are wrapping up their season with a bounty of tomatoes and peppers and armfuls of fragrant herbs. They may be green, but they have green thumbs.
