For a dazzling display of emerging artists and musicians, you needn’t travel any further than the Rye Arts Center. This spring, the Student Art Exhibit featured works by students from 18 area high schools. The teens also curated the show, the result of a yearlong arts education initiative, with guidance from Gail Harrison Roman. The year-end Music School Recitals ended on a high note, with 200 students of all ages performing classical, jazz, and rock music over several days.
