When Gina Imperato and Charles Oestreicher decided it was time to demolish a previous owner’s 1960s sunroom addition to their classic 1930s Tudor home on the Westchester Country Club grounds, and replace it with a fabulous family room, they needed a team of artisans. After interviewing a number of architects, they selected Teo Siguenza in Bedford, who in turn recommended they use Grasso Development Corp as their general contractor.

Grasso did extensive excavation to create a new back patio. The custom stonework is  a work of art. It took 3,000 pieces of wood to make the circle in the herringbone floor.

“Our family of five loves the space which is beautiful and very livable,” said Gina. “It gives us great entertaining and play space.”

The family likes the new space so much that they’re planning to get the “team” back to redo the adjoining kitchen.

“The beauty of working with Jeff (Grasso) is that you don’t have to do everything all at once!” said Gina.
