No shop has been in Rye longer, and few have been as cherished as Twig Antiques. But after more than a century of selling gently used vintage furniture, art, furnishings, wedding and hostess gifts, jewelry, and curiosities, the shop is moving from our downtown business district to the antiques district in Stamford.

Between now and August 31, when Twig will close its doors at 24 Smith Street, bargains are to be had.

Next month, Twig Antiques will open in Hiden Galleries, an association of 350 antiques dealers at 47 John Street, Aisle 1. Their new phone number is 203-363-0003. Their email is twigantiques@gmail.com.

The Twig asked to thank the community for its support all these years and hopes they will follow them north and on Facebook and eBay.
