The Civic Affairs Committee of the Sterling Park Residents Association is sponsoring Candidate Forums at The Osborn, and The League of Women Voters is sponsoring forums as well next month.
The Civic Affairs Committee of the Sterling Park Residents Association is sponsoring Candidate Forums at The Osborn next month and invites the public to attend. The forums are held to inform Osborn residents and the public of the issues and the candidates’ positions. A professional moderator or representative from the League of Women Voters will moderate the programs.
The forum schedule and the offices for which the candidates are running are:
Wednesday, October 9
At 3 p.m., Westchester County Executive candidates Rob Astorino (incumbent) and Noam Bramson (Mayor of New Rochelle).
Monday, October 21
At 7:30 p.m., County Legislator candidates Catherine Parker and John Verni
At 8 p.m., Rye City Council candidates Kirstin Bucci, Meg Cameron, Julie Killian (incumbent), Terry McCartney, Jason Mehler, and Shari Punyon
The Candidate Forums are free and open to the public, and no RSVP is required. Candidates may be available to meet with before the forums when refreshments will be served. The forums will take place in the Auditorium at The Osborn.
