Julia Bateman, a fifth grader at Milton School, came in third place among all 10- to 11-year-old girls across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut in the NFL’s recent Punt, Pass & Kick competition. The final event was held at Metlife Stadium before the Giants played the Dolphins October 30. Sean Landeta, the Giants’ Super Bowl-winning punter, presented the awards.

“The Punt, Pass & Kick competition is fun and I think every kid in Rye should try it,” said Julia. “I can’t believe I got to high-five Eli Manning before the game!”  

Julia has won the Rye Recreation sponsored PPK competition for the City of Rye the last three years.
