After finishing the regular season with a 5-1 record, which included a thrilling victory over Harrison February 12, the Rye Y Wave Ryeders headed to the Westchester Fairfield Swim League Championships.
After finishing the regular season with a 5-1 record, which included a thrilling victory over Harrison February 12, the Rye Y Wave Ryeders headed to the Westchester Fairfield Swim League Championships. Both the Y’s 8 and Under and 14 and Under teams won their age group divisions and the Wave Ryeders brought home the top prize February 28.
The Wave Ryeders travel next to the University of Buffalo for the New York State YMCA Swimming Championships, March 18-20.
“The team’s hard work and strong spirit was evident all season,” Coach Kate Tiedemann said with pride. “We’re in a good position to do well at States.”
