WEDDINGS: Goldman – Finnegan

Madeleine Chisholm Goldman and Connor Joseph Finnegan were married June 26, 2021 at Shenorock Shore Club in Rye. The Rev. Kate Malin of Christ’s Church Rye officiated. The couple were joined by immediate family for the small ceremony and reception. A larger reception with friends and family will be held in Brooklyn in January 2022. 

The bride, 29, is the daughter of Lawrence and Jennifer Goldman of Rye. She is a graduate of Rye High School, class of 2009 and of University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2013. She works in marketing & communications at Wisk Aero, an urban air-mobility startup in Mountain View, California.

The groom, 30, is the son of Kathy and the late Joseph Finnegan of Acton, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School and Hamilton College, from which he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Comparative Literature in 2013. He received a Computer Software Engineering Certificate from the Flatiron School in 2019. He works as a software engineer at Hemlane, a property management software company based in San Francisco. 

The couple met in New York City in the fall of 2013 while working as interns at digital media company Mashable. After living in New York City for the past eight years, the couple relocated to San Francisco.
