Lauren Kristina Pike and Walter DeForest Peek III were married on October 7, 2017 at Church of the Resurrection in Rye. Father Daniel O’Reilly celebrated the nuptial mass. The bride’s cousin, Lizzie Pike, served as maid of honor, and Steve Evans, a childhood friend of the groom’s, was the best man. A reception followed at the Apawamis Club.

The bride, 28, is the daughter of Ann and Dana Pike of Rye. She graduated from Boston College with a degree in both Education and Communications. She is an account manager at Ralph Lauren Corporation.

The groom, 28, who is known as Woody, is the son of Susie and Walter Peek of Rye. He graduated from Cornell University and is an account service representative at The Hallmark Channel.

While both the bride and groom grew up in and around Rye, they only met four years ago, through mutual friends in New York City.

The couple went on a mini-moon to Tulum, Mexico, before returning home to Manhattan. They plan on taking a longer honeymoon in the spring.
