Tubridy — Peters

 

Dr. Elizabeth Tubridy and Jonathan Peters Jr. were married on June 8, 2019 at St. Paul’s Church in Riverside, Conn. Reverend Stephanie Johnson officiated.

 

The bride, 27, is an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at NYU Langone in New York City. She graduated from Georgetown University and earned her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is the daughter of Gary and Erica Tubridy of Riverside. Her father is a Senior Vice President at the Alexander Group in Vero Beach, Fla. Her mother, who is now retired, was an Assistant Admissions Director at Greenwich Country Day School.

 

The groom, 31, who is known as Jono, is an Associate in Leveraged Finance at Citigroup. Previously, he served as an Artillery Officer in the United States Marine Corps, deployed once to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He graduated from Hamilton College and earned his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He is the son of Jonathan and Margaret Pierce Peters, of Rye, N.Y. His father, now retired, was a Managing Director in Credit Sales at Deutsche Bank in New York. His mother is a landscape designer.

 

The couple met in Washington, D.C., while he was stationed in Quantico, Va., and she was an undergraduate at Georgetown.
