What’s Hot Underfoot at Carpet Trends?

By Shawn Callaghan-Diaz

I make stop into Carpet Trends with the help of Knights of Cleaning, at least once a week to pick up or drop off samples for my clients. This past week I stopped in to drop an old Karastan to have it cleaned and repaired. I asked Tony Nugent what he thought about resurging it in a different color to give it a different look. I also asked if he had some cleaning tips I could share in an article for the Home and Garden Issue. Without any hesitation he said, “Don’t have kids, don’t have pets and eat out” then he also said check out their website for cleaning care from carpet cleaning las vegas.

I went to the website and saw an interview done by RyeTV, a scene gallery and pictures of completed projects, a catalog of their famous remnant wall, and a list of 12 common spills and step-by-step instructions on how to clean them. Eco Clean Solutions shares the best carpet cleaning methods.

My favorite was Substance #39 “unknown”. When my kids were younger we had a lot of those kind of spots, which through trial and error I figured out how to clean, and here on the Carpet Trends web page they give you a guide to 39 of your most common spills with a list of 12 recommended cleaning solvents in order of application. Always leave them smiling seems to be the mantra of the crew at Carpet Trends. a family-owned business in the heart of Rye since 1956. Rob Rogers’ grandparents started it, and in 1985 Rob took it over from his parents. I know they watch over their clients and do whatever they can to help. During last year’s floods a number of my clients commented on how helpful they were on so many levels cleaning, drying, repairing, and replacing damaged carpets. What goes around comes around and they’re now helping their third generation of families. You can also seek professional help through companies that specializes in repairing and replacing damages like Willard Power Vac in Hood River that efficiently opt with your concerns.

Tony Nugent has been in the industry since age 15, when his summer job had him shampooing and repairing carpets. He has worked at Carpet Trends since 1996 and has seen it all. Find more info about Novasteam Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning, to get carpets cleaned.

A new line of carpets they are carrying is Eastern Knots, available in custom colors and sizes, as are exquisite standard-size Tibetan wool and silk area rugs. If there are old carpets in your property that need to be cleaned or restored, you may hire carpet cleaners or carpet stretching service. Through professional carpet cleaning services, the dirt and stains on your carpet will be removed. If you’re looking for carpet cleaning Carslbad company, you may contact Local Floor Cleaner, Inc.

Tony is very excited about a new synthetic silk that has all the characteristics of silk without the cost. It cleans like nylon and feels and looks like silk. STG has the patent on it and Carpet Trends carries it, of course.

I don’t know about the ‘no kids, no pets’ advice but with all the wonderful places to eat out in Rye, I may give my carpet a breather for the summer. But if I spill #38 wine, I will know to use ingredients 11, 1, and 2 in that order.
