Convent of the Sacred Heart is hosting a panel discussion about the value of athletics in women’s lives for all middle and high school students. The program will be held at the Greenwich school campus Sunday, May 17, 4-5:30.
Maura Farden, UCLA gymnast and women’s sports broadcaster on ESPN, NBC, and Lifetime, will serve as moderator. The panelists include Mel McLaughlin, NCAA Men’s and Women’s Swim Coach and panel founder; Katey Stone, Team USA and Harvard Women’s Hockey Coach; Whit Hagerman, former UVA Lacrosse player and Assistant Coach at Dartmouth; and Jamie Phinney, Team USA Olympic Hockey player and Harvard Women’s Hockey Assistant Coach.
