Your School Budget Vote Matters

We moved to Rye five years ago seeking excellent schools, short commutes, and a deer-proof garden. Two out of three ain’t bad. Our two children love going to school every day at the amazing Osborn Elementary, with a fabulous faculty, many programs such as English as a New Language and Coding and great leadership in Mrs. Garcia and Mr. Walley. We are also grateful beneficiaries of the services offered under Special Education in the Rye schools.

Please help us continue to support our highly ranked Rye City Schools and strong home values by voting YES for the School Budget on May 15. Your vote matters. If you are unable to vote in person on May 15th you can pick up an Absentee ballot from the Rye City School District Clerk, Elaine Cuglietto at 555 Theodore Fremd Ave., Suite B101.

This year, the District’s budget is tax cap-compliant and includes an increase in supporting professional development for our hard-working teachers. It also makes provisions for investments in technology, facilities, athletics, and additional co-teaching classes needed to maintain our school district’s overall record of excellence.

There isn’t anything we wouldn’t do for our children and their education. We always find time to help with homework, drive them all over town for extra-curricular activities, and now we need to find the ten minutes to vote YES. Thank you.
