A Day At the Races

Autumn got off to a fast (and wet) start at Rye Town Park last weekend when 875 adult and 450 young athletes competed in the 35th Westchester Triathlon, supported by a large group of enthusiastic spectators and volunteers.

On Saturday, over 450 boy and girl athletes competed in the ONS Kids’ Triathlon. Top finishers in the 7-10 race were Cal Farrell and Emma Curran. Alexis Favre and Amanda Jaffe took top honors in the 11-15 division.

The adults took over on Sunday in the Zoot Olympic division, with Matthew Guenter and Elizabeth Pratt taking the gold.
