Boys’ Basketball Roundup

Rye Neck extended their season February 15, defeating North Salem 58-39 in a game knotted at halftime at 26. Matt Franks registered a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Pennell chipped in 17 points with 6 assists. Overall, the Panthers hit nine 3-pointers, including three by Chris Cascione, who added one with 10 seconds left to beat Blind Brook 47-46 on February 18. Rye Neck plays Woodlands in the Class B semifinal Monday.

Meanwhile, Rye High School ended their season, dropping an 84-52 contest with Eastchester. Drew Abate led Rye with 21 points.
