An avid bridge player, she played and supported Twig Bridge. She was an active member of the Woman’s Club of Rye, playing leading roles in the Theater Group.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter R. Brent. She will be missed by her children, Alison, Wayne, and Andrew; her grandchildren, Carly Wilson, Devon Anderson, and Andrew Brent; and her great-grandchildren, Parker and Charlotte Wilson.
A service in Dolores Brent’s memory will be held at a future date at University Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill, N.C. Memorial donations may be made to the SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice Home of UNC Health Care.
