The Little Garden Club of Rye hosted a large group at their annual holiday sale and luncheon last week. The beautifully festive event has grown from an informal tea to a wondrous gathering at American Yacht Club.
Guests know to arrive early to get the pick of a dazzling array of centerpieces and evergreen displays. Proceeds go toward the club’s many civic projects, including the maintenance of planters around town (at the post office, train station, Rockridge triangle, and Knapp House,) the Rye Nature Center’s new native plant garden, as well as the employment of an intern at the Nature Center.
Take a bough, Co-Chairs Elisabeth Moyer, Betsy Gallagher, and Julia Billingsley.
