Helen Gates to Be New RAC Director

The Rye Arts Center has some exciting New Year’s news. They are pleased to announce the hiring of Helen Gates as Executive Director. The Rye resident will start her new job January 9.

 

The Rye Arts Center has some exciting New Year’s news. They are pleased to announce the hiring of Helen Gates as Executive Director. The Rye resident will start her new job January 9.

“Over our search process, we were impressed by Helen’s wide variety of skills, deep community connections, and the widespread respect she has gained because of her work at the Y,” said RAC Acting President Tara Yeager and Vice President Eileen Neiman. Since September 2008, Gates has served as Director of Marketing and Community Impact at the Rye YMCA.

Gates’ extensive marketing background and the excellent job she did rebranding the Y’s positioning and communications strategy made her a perfect fit for the top job at the Arts Center, said Yeager. “We’re lucky to get her.
