Ms. Keith officially conceded defeat November 17, nine days after the election.
“I congratulate Judy Myers on her win,” Keith stated. “I wish her well in carrying out her responsibilities of office.”
She continued, “I look forward to continuing my work on the Rye City Council — I will work even harder than I did before to show my commitment to the issues I know are important to all of you. I also want to thank all those who came out in support of my campaign. While the end result of our election did not go our way, we still scored a big victory for democracy. We listened to the residents who spoke loudly and clearly about our County’s tax burden and I will continue the effort to make our County more affordable.”
