Helping Wishes Come True

Earlier this month William Raveis Real Estate participated in the Hudson Gateway MLS Garage Sale to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Earlier this month William Raveis Real Estate participated in the Hudson Gateway MLS Garage Sale to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All proceeds go directly to help make a terminally ill child’s wish come true.  Marylin Hoffman and Lucy Venia spearheaded the June 14 sale outside Raveis’ downtown Rye office. Through the sale of new and gently used items donated by agents and cash contributions from the community that day, they were able to raise $638 for a great cause in a few hours.

“The highlight for us,” said Hoffman, “was when a woman got out of her car with four children, the eldest of whom was a recipient of Make-A-Wish generosity, and thanked us profusely, as did her daughter.”
